Hello everyone,

I am doing a political risk analysis on Paraguay and I am wondering what sports are most popular in Paraguay. I need some background info about athletics there too. If anyone can help please send me some feedback. Thank you!

I am a bit curious how popularity of sports in Paraguay relates to political risks there?

This analysis is for a Sport Management class. I am determining whether or not Paraguay is stable enough to host an international athletic event. I also need their background in sport popularity, or if there are any other sports followed like futbol/soccer there as part of this project.

I have heard of rumors about Paraguay's talent and skills when it comes to playing soccer.

But I haven't seen them in action.

Maybe I can suggest that you watch them so you'll have an idea.
